How to get there… and back again

Ísafjordur is located in the heart of the West Fjords.

To get there the easiest way is to fly in from Reykjavík Domestic Airport. Twice a day Air Iceland ( www.airiceland.is ) flies from Reykjavík to Ísafjordur and it takes just 40 minutes. For easy booking contact the group service via e-mail; hopadeild@airiceland.is, tell them you are going to the festival and you will get good service and price.

Programme

In connection with the festival few other events takes place for artists and press.

On the evening of Friday the 14th, there will be a welcome party and dinner at the Maritime Museum in Ísafjörður.


At noon, the 15th , artists and press are invited to a short sightseeing tour and lunch.

At 16:00, the same day , the festival starts and will finish after midnight. But the fun continues with parties all over town for those with still some energy to burn.

On Easter day, the 17th , a delicious dinner will be served a la Ísafjörður.
